Learn how to monitor your payment page status, schedule real-time announcement banners for customers, and easily enable or disable your integration.

This article will guide you through the process of using the Configuration Tab within the ePayPolicy Dashboard to manage maintenance windows and customer communications.

1. Login to the ePayPolicy Dashboard at https://app.epaypolicy.com/.

2. Click the Configuration tab in the right-side navigation menu.

The Configuration Tab serves as your central hub for broadcasting real-time updates and managing the live status of your payment interface.

This is primarily intended for use during scheduled maintenance, technical outages, or system upgrades.

Detailed Capabilities

Disable Payment Page

When a maintenance window requires a total system freeze, the "Disable" function takes the page offline immediately.

  • Changes propagate in real-time.
  • Ensures no "ghost" transactions are attempted while backend systems are being updated.

Payment Page Alert Banners

Banners allow for proactive communication without disrupting the checkout flow.

  • Set banners to appear automatically at a future date so your team doesn't have to be online at the start of maintenance.
  • Use the banner to communicate clearly and maintain trust with your payers. Highlight operational updates like 'Potential Processing Delays,' or use it as a general notice board to share customer service hours and helpful resources.

Disable Invoice Integration

This feature allows the payment page to remain "Online" even if your internal management system is down.

  • Disabling the integration does not require disabling the payment page.
  • When disabled, the page can still collect payments without requiring real-time invoice validation.

Benefits of Using the Configuration Tab

  • Reduces reliance on ePayPolicy Support; manage your own maintenance schedules 24/7.
  • Alert Banners set customer expectations before they reach the final checkout step, preventing "cart abandonment frustration."
  • Instantly disabling the page prevents failed transactions and negative feedback during client-side technical issues.
  • Collect payments in manual mode even while your management system is offline.
  • Use scheduling features to plan ahead and reduce the need for emergency manual updates during off-hours.
